SADNESS IN THE HOME OF MR. AND MRS. J. G. GILMORE
A few days ago pneumonia seized the little son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Gilmore, and on last Wednesday death cast its shadows on this home, claiming the devoted little son, Boyce Boehle. "O death where is thy sting; O grave, where is thy victory?" It was sad that so sweet a rosebud should be cut down in the flower of its youth, but we know that the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, so if it is His will that so lovely a blossom should perish and shed Its fragrance, we must be willing that His will should be done.
All that was mortal of this dear little one was laid to rest yesterday afternoon In Cedarlawn cemetery under a bank of flowers arranged by loving hands of friends and relatives who in this sad hour of bereavement did all they could to cheer the hearts of this young father and mother and little brother, Johnnie Gaston, Jr. The funeral was conducted by the pastor. Rev. W. A. Hewitt, of the First Baptist Church of Jackson.
The bereaved young mother is a sister of T. E. Boehle of this city, and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boehle of Jackson, while the father has many relatives who Join them with sympathy In this sad hour.
It is with grateful hearts that the relatives join these young parents in extending their thanks for the many kindnesses and courtesies shown them in their hour of sadness.
