Janie Ruth Andrews, 79, of Duncan died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, in Duncan.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Duncan with the Rev. Jody Hilliard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan.
Mrs. Andrews was born Oct. 14, 1921, in Temple to Doyle T. and Nannie Mae McGee Stogner. She married Leonard B. Andrews on Aug. 9, 1941, in Duncan. She graduated from Temple High School and was a homemaker. She was a former employee of Arkla Gas in Duncan. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Chapter Eta Iota Sorority and the First Baptist Church in Duncan.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard, of the home; a daughter, Beverly Sue Cordova of Geyserville, Calif.; two sons, Don. Nelson Andrews of Phoenix, Ariz., and L. B. Andrews of Duncan; four brothers, Douglas Stogner of Hobbs, N.M., Warren Stogner of Decatur, Texas, Marshall Stogner of Smithsville, Texas, and D. T. Stogner of Trophy Club, Texas; a sister, Pauline Brown of Colorado City, Texas; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
