Doyle T. Stogner Services Friday
Services for Doyle T. Stogner, 77, will be held Friday at 2 p.m., from the Temple Church of Christ, Doyle Harris, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery under direction of Pearson Funeral Home.
Mr. Stogner died Tuesday in a Lawton hospital following a short illness.
Born May 13, 1892, in Farris, Tex., Mr. Stogner was reared in the Donley community east of Temple.
In 1914 he married Mae McGee and they made their home in the Gregg community.
To this union nine children were born. His wife and one child preceded him in death.
In January of 1958 he was married to Carrie Dutton in Lawton and they made their home in Temple.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Finis Brown of Midland, Tex., and Mrs. Leonard Andrews of Duncan; six sons, Douglas of Hobbs, N.M., Warren of Decatur, Tex., Perry of Temple, Mack of Duncan, D. J., Jr. of Midland, Tex., and Major Marshall Stogner, serving in Vietnam; three brothers, Mason Stogner of Enid, John of Tulsa, and Carroll of Temple; two sisters, Mrs. C. T. Crow of Temple, and Mrs. Vermont Shaw of Walters; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
