Ralph H. Miller
Ralph H. Miller, 59, of 231 E. Park St., Elizabethtown, a crane operator of Harley-Davidson, York, died Friday evening, Aug. 19, 1983, at the Hershey Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Helen (Stephens) Miller.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Boyer Funeral Home, 144 E. High St., Elizabethtown. Burial will be in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Born in Lancaster County, son of Benjamin Z. Miller, Mount Joy RD 1, and the late Ella (Heisey) Miller, he was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving with the Eighth Air Force in England. He attended Grace Brethren Church, Elizabethtown. He was a member of American Legion Post 329, a charter member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5667, a member of Loal Order of Moose Lodge 596, all of Elizabethtown, and a member of Dela-Ches Fishing Association, Lawn.
Mr. Miller also is survived by three daughters, Pamela K. Higgins, Elizabethtown; Mrs. Richard Hobson, Griffin, Ga., and Gail I Miller, at home; four grandchildren; two brothers, Norman H. Miller, York, and John H. Miller, Manheim RD 4; three sisters, Mrs. Stanley Herr, Mount Joy RD1; Mrs. Norman Rutt, Elizabethtown RD 1, and Mrs. Harold Hollinger, Elizabethtown RD 4.
Officiating will be the Rev. Michael J. Rockafellow, pastor of Grace Brethren Church, Elizabethtown.
