Bill Mash was taken to Lutheran Hospital on Oct. 27. He passed away November 2, 1980.
Funeral services for William G. Mash were held on Wednesday, November 5, 1980 at 2 p.m. at the Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center. Rev. James Fouke, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated at the service. Music was provided by organist, Evelyn Friesz and vocalist, Barbara Brandt. Pallbearers were Dick Mash, Lenny Mash, Ronnie Mash, Bobby Greif, Lavern Greif and Doyle Weddle. Interment was at the Brethren Cemetery.
William G. Mash, 61, died November 2, 1980 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He was the son of Tom and Lola Mash and was born on September 29, 1919 at Adel, Iowa. He was married to Arveta Lovell on February 17, 1940.
He is survived by his wife, Arveta, two daughters and their husbands, Marjorie and Larry Torrence and LaVaun and Merle Baer, all of Dallas Center, three grandchildren, Bill Torrence and Amy Baer of Dallas Center and Jill Wallin and her husband, Brent of Omaha, Nebraska, also two brothers and eight sisters. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jim and Bobbie.
Relatives from out of state here to attend the funeral of Bill Mash were Herbert Mash of Granda HIlls, California, Mr. and Mrs. Brent Wallin of Omaha, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Lovell, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Lovell, Jr. of St. Louis, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Neville Weddle, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Weddle, Mr. Muriel Weddle, Mrs. Alan Roberson, and Mrs. Kent Nichols, all of Bethany, Missouri.
