Norton, Va. – Mrs. Earnestine Collins, 68, died in St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident of the Norton area.
Surviving are two daughters, Stella Collins, Norton, Va. and Mrs. Joan Handlir, Bel Air, Md.; two sons, Richard Collins, Baltimore, Md. and Dillard Collins, Kingsport; one sisters, Mrs. Frances Collins, Hopewell, Va.; two brothers, Frank Stipes, Lynchburg, Va. and Edward Stipes, Seattle, Wash.; seven grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hagy Funeral Home in Norton, Va. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Freeman officiating. Burial will be Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
