Ira Burkhart was born Aug. 29, 1920, in Bomar, Okla. Ira was a good husband, father and friend to many. He was a World War II Purple Heart veteran and an auto body repairman for 42 years. Ira was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Jimmie Mozel Burkhart.
Survivors: Sons, Roger Lynn Burkhart and wife, Betty, of Washington and David Melton Burkhart and wife, Patti of Godley; and brothers, Bunch Burkhart and Van Burkhart of Marietta, Okla.
