William A Broehm

William A. Broehm, 76, of 135 N. 2nd Str., Hilbert, died Monday at Appleton following a lengthy illness.

He was born June 14, 1900 at Forest Junction, a son of Theodore and Catherine Wink Broehm. On June 23, 1923 he married the former Hilda Kamke at Kasson. Mr. Broehm farmed in the rural Hilbert area and worked for the Gilbert Paper Co., Menasha, until retiring in 1965. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Churchy, Hilbert.

Survivors include his widow; four sons, Elroy of Kiel, William Jr. of Menasha, Donald of Hilbert, and Harlan of Millhome; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Nora Hernke of Milwaukee. A sister and three brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hilbert, the Rev. Gene Kangas, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Appleton.
