PECOS Our Loving Mother Pauline Galindo was called home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2011.


She was born in June 16, 1928 in Balmorhea, Texas to her parents Hilario and Enriquetta Lyles Vasquez. She was the last surviving daughter of a large family of 8 children.
Besides her siblings, she was also preceded in death by her late husband Domingo C. Galindo and her beloved son Tommy Galindo.


She is survived by her sons, Rene Galindo and wife Sandra of Pecos and Jack Wayne Galindo and wife Patricia of El Paso; daughters, Carmen Galindo and husband Lupe of Odessa, Yolanda Rodriguez and husband David of Odessa and Patricia Galindo of Odessa. Her extended family includes Francs Galindo and Anita Galindo.


Her grandchildren knew her better as "NANNY." She was a grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and other family members whom she loved dearly.


Visitation is scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel of Pecos.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel of Pecos. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Catherin's Catholic Church in Pecos with Fr. Fabian Marquez officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos.
