Roy (Pete) Mikels, 65, of Rt. 2, Lafayette, died Saturday in Healthwin Sanatorium near South Bend, where he was a patient two years. He was ill four years.

A native of Romney, he moved near Battle Ground in 1900 and was a farmer.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Laura Schnepp of Battle Ground, and a brother, Albert, of Lafayette.
