She was born July 31, 1921 in Price to Albert James and Lilly B. Grames, pioneers of Carbon County.
She retired from Castleview Hospital and became a volunteer Pink Lady and Carbon-Emery Senior Citizen dancer.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, including as a missionary in the Denver area and as a temple worker.
She was active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed fishing and crocheting.
Her children are Bob Safford, Magna; Larry (Julie) Safford, Cottonwood Heights; Paulette (Stan) Sykes, Magna; and Dennis Safford (deceased). She has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, step-children, and friends who will miss her.

Funeral services will be held o Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Price Fourth Ward Chapel, 545 East 400 North, with a viewing one hour prior. A viewing will also be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Fausett Mortuary in Price from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery.
