TOLEDO -- William G. Bueker, 81, of Toledo, died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday (April 17, 2005) at his residence. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery in Sigel. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. He was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Sigel, son of Aloysius and Frances Jurgens Bueker. He married Rea Lawhorn in 1947; she died in 1983. Survivors include sons, Lonnie Bueker of Yale, John Bueker of Toledo; daughters, Dorothy Finks of Toledo andn Donna Abbott of Jewett; stepson, Larry Lawhorn of Toledo; brothers, Louis Bueker of Columbia City, Ind., and George Bueker of Toledo; sisters, Luella Lilly of Effingham, Clara Stuart of Helotis, Tx., Helen McKinney of Columbia City, Ind., Margaret Willenborg of Neoga, Norma Otterson of Eau Claire, Wis., and Joan Jamison of Teutopolis; 20 grandchildren; three step grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by on son, two brothers; two grandchildren and two step grandchildren. Mr. Bueker worked 32 years as a welder for Illinois Central Railroad. He was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Montrose. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
