BURNHEIMER - Anna (Dubay), 83, Stonycreek Township, died Feb. 21, 2006, at home. Born Aug. 16, 1922, in Johnstown's Woodvale section, daughter of John and Mary (Sroka) Dubay. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Steve Dubay. Survived by husband of 62 years, Herbert Burnheimer; and these children: John M., married to the former Sharon Petrusic, Johnstown, and Judith, wife of Paul Alimena, Rye, N.Y.; grandchildren, Emily, and fiance, Michael Murphy, Pittsburgh; Sara and Michael Burnheimer, Johnstown; Benjamin and Christopher Alimena, Rye. A sister of Mary Herman, Helen Sakmar, Margaret Symon, all of Johnstown; Michael Dubay, Pelham, Ala.; and Delores Allison, Lancaster. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and godchildren. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Formerly employed by the former Lee Hospital and Kay Artley Apparels. Retired from the meat department of Riverside Market, with 20 years of service. During World War II, she worked at Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a crane operator. A former member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church. A member of Election Board, Stonycreek Township; Rosary Society of St. Joseph Church; SOAR; and St. Joseph Chapel of St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, the Rev. Monsignor George B. Flynn, V.G. Committal, Grandview Mausoleum. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where vigil for the deceased will be held Thursday. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Windber Hospice, American Cancer Society or charity of your choice, in memory of Anna Burnheimer.
