Mrs. Lula Dinsmore, well-known Pittsboro resident, died, Sunday evening, in a Plainfield nursing home following several months' illness.
She was the widow of the late Arta Dinsmore, who died in 1948. Following the death of her husband, she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Voneal Huffman, in Pittsboro.
Services were conducted, Wednesday afternoon, in the Gregory Funeral Home, Pittsboro. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
Surviving with the daughter are five sisters, Ursa Taylor, Cordia Merritt and Clellia Eldridge, all of Pittsboro; Dessie Pearcy and Ova Moore, both of Lebanon; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
