Word has been received here of the death of Cyril T Bender, 85, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Dix Hills, Long Island, NY, who died of natural causes Wednesday, April 19, 2000. He was the husband of Millicent Bender, and his first wife, the late Phyliss LaTour Bender.
Born in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Jacob K and Sarah M Urich Bender. He was a 1932 graduate of Lebanon High School.
Surviving,in addition to his wife, are a son _____; brothers Victor L Bender, Las Vegas, Nev and _______; a sister, Darlene M Shucker, Lebanon; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce, sisters Kathryn Matthew and Louella Davis, and a brother, George W Bender.
Services were held Saturday in Las Vegas, Nev. Interment will be today in Pine Lawn Cemetery, Long Island, NY
