He owned and operated his own farm for many years. He was an active member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Presque Isle.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patty" (Graham) Shaw of Presque Isle, two daughters; Carrie-Jean (Shaw) Doody and husband Mark of Caribou, Cheryl Lee (Shaw) Curtis and husband Jerry (Jed) of Presque Isle and grandchildren Emma Clare Curtis and Deklan Chase Curtis of Presque Isle. Bob will also be missed by his dog, Brandy; two siblings; Goldena Spencer of Old Town and Merrill Shaw and wife Arlene of Mars Hill and several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
He was predeceased by his parents and six siblings; Joyce Shaw, Verna Condon, Roy M. (Pete) Shaw, Audrey Brown, Esther Roix and Patricia Kiser, an infant son, Scott Robert Shaw.
Interment will be at a later date in Estes Park Cemetery, Easton. (Bangor Daily News 11/18/2014)
