PRESQUE ISLE - Audrey J. Brown 79, died Dec. 6, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born Dec. 19, 1926, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Roy and Pearl (McLean) Shaw. Audrey was an active member of the First United Pentecostal Church, Presque Isle. She and her husband owned and operated Brown's Bakery for many years and had helped with the Meals On Wheels program for several years. Surviving her is her husband, Rupert E. Brown of Presque Isle; a son, Timothy T. Brown of Sevierville, Tenn.; two daughters, Cynthia L. Kaiser of Presque Isle and Earla J. Haggerty of Skowhegan; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grand-children; two brothers, Merrill and Robert Shaw, both of Presque Isle; three sisters, Esther Roix of Millinocket, Goldena Spencer of Old Town and Patricia Kiser of Easton; several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the First United Pentecostal Church, 51 Wilson St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at the church with Pastors Anthony Scott and William Roix officiating. Interment will be held at later date at Northern Maine Veterans' Cemetery, Caribou. Gifts in her memory may be made to the First United Pentecostal Church Sunday School Fund. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
