Mr.Jenkins,of Dayton,Ohio,had been visiting relatives in Cleburne County (AR)and was enroute home when he became ill in Carlyle. He was a former resident of Ida. His wife,Ella, preceded him in death on April 3 of this year.
Survivors include one son,William (Marge)Jenkins of Houston,TX;one daughter Betty(Dale) McCullum of Vandalia,Ohio; two brothers,Anderson (Lue)Jenkins of Heber Springs,AR;Grady(Omera) Jenkins of Rosedale,MS;three sisters Nona Odom of Charleston,MS,Dessie(Richard)Wagner of Heber Springs,AR;and Grace(Bud)Davis of Drasco,AR. Nine grandchildren,four great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
