The death of John Courtney Pennington occured Tuesday night at his home. Funeral services are to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Moore's Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Middlebrooks officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery.
Mr. Pennington is survived by his wife, the former Miss Mattie Holsenbeck; a number of nieces and nephews including Bill Holsenbeck of Milledgeville, Mrs. Joan Pennington Turner of Milledgeville and Mrs. Betty Floyd Davis of Mentor, Ohio.
