Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Pennington Smith, 83, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Berry-Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles L. Middlebrooks officiating. Burial was in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith's death occurred Monday at the home of her son, Guy (Hamp) Smith, where she was making her home.
Survivors include two other sons, John C. Smith of Macon and Harvey J. Smith of New York City; two daughters, Mrs. L.A. Blakely of Clinton, S.C., and Mrs. George Cote of Macon, One Brother John C. Pennington of Milledgeville; six
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
