Orville J. "Buster" Olson, age 79, of Madison, died at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, TX after a long illness. He was born on May 12, 1925 at Lake Preston, SD to John and Tressa (Jensen) Olson. He married Betty Lee at DeSmet, SD on September, 7, 1947. He is survived by his wife of 57 years. - Betty of Madison. Two sons - Steve (Doreen) of Venus, TX and Gary (Connie) of Madison. Two daughters - Barbara (Don) McKinney and Pamela (Clyde) Lamb both of Burleson, TX. 13 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. One brother - Robert (Deloris) of Lake Preston and three sisters - Ruby Lowe of Sioux Falls Muriel ( Junior ) Warner of Grass Valley, CA and Charlotte (Don) Smith also of Lake Preston, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son - Ronald in 1967, two infant daughters, a granddaughter a great granddaughter, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the Lake Preston Lutheran Church in Lake Preston with Rev Mary Wallum officiating. Burial will be in the North Preston Cemetery. He grew up in Lake Preston. They lived in Grass Valley, CA where he helped to build the Peace Lutheran Church and Baltic, SD before moving to Madison in 1975. He worked as a carpenter. He was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Madison.
