Bob was the son of John Vinton & Eva Agnes Bender Knode. He was tbe husband of the late Lois Jane Pugh Knode whom he married Oct 31 1947. Bob owned and operated K & S Locksmith.

Bob was a member of St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church & a member of Benevolent & Protective order of the Elks, Hagerstown Lodge 378.

He is survived by daughter Leah Knode Ebersold & husband John of Purcellville, Va., brother David Knode & wife Dorian and his companion Wanda Knode.

Besides his wife he was preceded in death by brothers, William, Ellis, Roland, Vinton & Walter and sisters, Mildred Remsburg, Anna Sperow, Agnes Johnston, Dorothy Williams and Martha Knode.

Funeral services were held at A K Cauffman funeral home with Rev David B Kaplan officating. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
