Mrs Anna Agnes Reeder
Rev Clyde R Campbell, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church,
conducted rites at the church at 2 o'clock this afternoon for Mrs. Anna Reeder, wife of Albert B Reeder, barber at The Palace Barber Shop.
Mrs. Reeder a native of Palo Pinto county, had been suffering with a throat ailment. The illness came upon her first on Thursday, October 18 and she became confined to her bed on Saturday following. She died at 6:30 pm Monday.
She was born June 17, 1905 near Palo Pinto, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin S. Moore.
Mrs. Reeder was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was an active worker in the church program. She was a Sunday School teacher and girls auxiliary leader..
Surviving are her husband, her parents, and the following brothers and sisters, John, Tom, Jim, Jess, George and Bill Moore of Mineral Wells. Jeff Moore of Glendale, Arizona, Mrs. Lela Willhite of Breckenridge, Frances and Ethel Moore of Mineral Wells.
She and Mr. Reeder were married at Palo Pinto in 1925. They had resided at Mineral Wells where her husband was employed.
R. H. Beetham, funeral director had charge of the funeral, Interment was at Brazos Valley Cemetery.
Active pall bearers were Frank Granbury, Amos Magee, L. D. Craig. Frank Jones, Benny Estes and T. W. Lake.
