Dena Ruth (Prophet) Kennedy, 74, died at 4:18 PM Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at Rosewalk Village. Born Aug. 5, 1933, to the late William Milton and Bessie Bowen Prophet, in Logansport, she was a graduate of Cutler High School. Ms. Kennedy worked in housekeeping at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She enjoyed being involved in activities at Rosewalk Village.

Surviving are four sons, Carl Leon Redinbo, Jr. (wife Margie), Jeffrey Allen Crossler (wife Lori), William Shawn Crossler, all of Lafayette, and David Eugene Crossler (wife Julie) of Anderson; two daughters, Peggy Lynn Clark (husband Clifford) of Keokuk, IA, and Carolyn Sue Robinson of Lafayette; a brother, Wayne Milton Prophet of Florida; and her companion, Richard L. Kennedy. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas Duane Crossler; two brothers, one sister, and one grandson. Service Aug. 23, Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
