She was the daughter of Myrtle Cullison Ditzler of Hanover and the late James Ditzler.
Sherry had been employed at SKF in Hanover from 1972 until 1986. She graduated in 1969 from Littlestown High School.
She was the wife of Ronald F. Bevan for over 30 years and surviving, in addition to him and also her mother, are one son, Scott Bevans of Hanover; one daughter, Bobbi Bevans of Hanover; four grandchildren; four sisters, Alice Bollinger of Aspers, Joy Leppo of Littlestown, and Gloria Milburn and Debbie Wolf, both of Hanover; three brothers, Jim Ditzler of McSherrystown, and Jack Ditzler and Rick Ditzler, both of Gettysburg.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Ditzler.
