LITTLESTOWN - Ray E. Ditzler, 54, of 4874 Baltimore Pike, died Monday evening at his home.
Born August 10, 1940, in Carroll County, Md., he was the son of Myrtle (Cullison) Ditzler of Hanover and the late James R. Ditzler Sr.
He was a route driver for Triple Crown Cleaners in Littlestown. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Alpha Fire Co. and a social member of the VFW, all of Littlestown.
Surviving also are three daughters, Brenda L. Baker of Aurora, Calif., Lori A. Hagerman of Gettysburg and Wendy K. Moose of Hanover; three brothers, James R. Ditzler of McSherrystown, Jack R. Ditzler of Bonneauville and Rick D. Ditzler of Hanover; five sisters, Joy D. Leppo of Littlestown, Sherri K. Bevans, Debbie Wolf and Gloria Milburn, all of Hanover, and Alice Bollinger of Aspers; seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Little's Funeral Home in Littlestown with the Rev. Terry L. Lamer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
