Obituary:

Funeral services for Mrs. John O'Donahue, 76, a Mellen resident for many years, who died Wednesday, were held this morning at the Holy Rosary church with the Rev. John Kauer officiating. Burial was made in the Mellen Union cemetery.

Mrs. O'Donahue was born September 7, 1876 at Eagleton, WI. In June 1899 she was married to John O'Donahue and on June 6, 1900, they came to Mellen where Mr. O'Donahue served as roadmaster for the Soo Line Railroad until his dealth in 1938.

Mrs. O'Donahue was an active church worker.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. M.J. Galvin and Mrs. Norman Zimmerman, St. Paul; Miss Marie O'Donahue, Ashland and Mrs. George Trainer, Beloit; three sons, Emmett, Ironwood, Gavin, Mellen, and Tom, Beloit and 16 grandchildren.
