HARDY, Neb. - Mildred Steier, 95, Hardy, died Saturday, March 12, at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital, Superior.
Mrs. Steier was born June 3, 1892, on a farm in Republic County, Kan., and had been a resident of Hardy for 91 years. She was a homemaker, a member of the Jewell Social Circle and a former school board member for District No. 73.
Her husband, Peter, died in 1969.
Survivors include a daughter, Enola Boylan of Scandia, Kan.; a son, Elvin of Superior; a sister, Bula Clark of Hardy; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel, Superior, the Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Rosemound (sic) Cemetery, rural Hardy.
Visitation is at the funeral home.
