Samuel Price b. 1756 m. Anna Lowe, sometimes known as Nancy, b. 12 Aug 1756. John Loe taxed with 2 cattle/horses in Newton township (portion became Frankford township) in 1774 was perhaps her father or brother. Samuel and Anna resided Frankford township, Sussex County, New Jersey. He would seem too young to have been the Sammual Price taxed in Newton township (portion of Newton later became Frankford) in 1774 as a householder. Appointed County Judge of Sussex County, Nov 1813.

Will of Samuel dated 11 July 1822 Frankford township. Wife, Anna two cows, two feather beds and bedding, looking glass, $50 for necessary articles, and $500 in lieu of dower. Son, Robert $10. Son, John farm of 162 acres and other lands. Grandson, Samuel Price, son of John Price, land on condition he pay $2,000 to his sisters in four years after his father's death, when each arrives at age 20. Son, Zachariah S. Price and wife, Elizabeth farm in Unadilla, New York. Son, Samuel homestead farm of 250 acres and other lands on condition he pay his sister, Anna House $2,000 and my granddaughter, Hannah Hoffman $1,000 when 21. Son, Samuel to pay grandson, Robert John Price, son of Tunis $500 when 23 and the same to his sisters, Caroline and Maria, daughters of Tunis when 20. Son, Tunis interest annually of $600. Oldest son of Samuel P. Adams of Upper Canada $500 when 25. Residue of estate to son, Samuel. Executors, son Samuel and friend William Ryerson Esq. Witnesses, Job S. Halsted, Pettit Brittin, Ephraim Green Jr. Proved 14 Dec 1831.

As required by New Jersey law, two slave births were recorded for Samuel:

James Boyer, male child b. 28 Aug 1820 "of my black slave woman, Dinah," Frankford township.
Touisant Milford, male child b. 13 Aug 1823 "of my black woman Dinah," Frankford township.

Samuel did not make provisions for his slaves in his Will, but they were inventoried among his household goods, animals, and crops, dated 20 July 1824:
