(2)Susannah Hover b. 30 Apr 1772 bpt 30 Aug 1772 (Walpack) daughter of Manuel Hover and Mary Schoonover. In 1815 John was of Frankford township, but on 24 July 1817 he is John Price, late of Milton township, Trumbull County, Ohio (Sussex deed H2:295). John owned mill property at Lafayette, Sussex County. John committed suicide 30 Oct 1820 54y 5m 5d (ts) Frankford Plains Cemetery. After his death, Joseph Northrup foreclosed a mortgage on the mill property in Lafayette township, which was sold by the sheriff in 1822 (Y2:367). The complaint filed by Joseph Northrup in Chancery Court appears as Decree No. 20, pp. 139-147 and is filed at the State Archives, 25 June 1821. The decree states he left "Abigail Couse, Emanuel H. Price, Robert Price, Maria Price, Lucy Ann Price, Phebe Price, Joseph G. Price, and Samuel Price his children." Letters of administration on the estate had been granted to Henry Price. Other evidence of John's children comes from a series of deeds regarding the farm that is divided in Division B-350. This was not owned by John at his death, but conveyed by David Ryerson to his heirs in 1826. There is a deed (B4:397) from Samuel Price of Frankford township to John P. Couse of Sandyston township. Dated 28 July 1843 it conveys a 1/7 interest in the farm "on which Susanna Price and Robert Price" now live and which was conveyed by David Ryerson to Susanna Price, Abigail Couse, Emanuel H. Price, Robert Price, Maria Price, Lucy Ann Baxter, Phebe Price, and Samuel Price, and also states that Susanna is the widow of John Price and the other seven his children.
