Marvin "Butch" Adkisson, 79, of Dawson Springs, KY, and formerly of Madisonville, died at 8:17 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. He was born April 27, 1928, in eastern Kentucky. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents and one (s/b two) sister. He is survived by three daughters, two sisters and three brothers. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Hawkins Cemetery with the Rev. Beedie Bratcher officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. today at the cemetery. Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs is in charge of arrangements.
