Iva was married to Archibald Arthur (Arch) LEWIS (son of William Turner LEWIS and Frances Cora (Fannie) BELL) on October 15, 1899 in Herod, Terrell County, GA.

Iva resided between 1897 and 1899 in Terrell County, GA. She resided at 222 E. Johnson Street between 1899 and 1965 in Dawson, Terrell County, GA. She resided in 1966 in Eustis, Lake County, FL. She was a Methodist.

Dawson, GA. - Funeral services for Mrs. Iva English Lewis, 84, will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at the DuPree Funeral Home here by the Rev. Allen Johnson. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

A native of Macon County, GA., Mrs. Lewis had resided in Dawson for 65 years. She left Dawson about a year ago to reside with a daughter in Eustis, FL. A member of Dawson Methodist Church, she was the wife of Arch A. Lewis.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Martha Lewis and Mrs. Charlie Jones, both of Eustis, FL., Mrs. George Kelly, Miami, FL.; three sons, William G. Lewis, Galveston, TX., Charlie and Jube Lewis, both of Atlanta; a brother Dan English, Sr., Dawson; four sisters, Mrs. Janie Lewis and Mrs. Bethia Wager, both of Dawson, Mrs. W. S. Wright, Ocala, FL., and Mrs. Mary McLendon, Albany.
