MRS. A. W. ENGLISH, 85, DIES IN DAWSON
Dawson - Jan. 21, - Mrs. A. W. English, 85, died at her home in Dawson, Ga. today after a long illness.
She was born in Worth County, Jan. 1, 1855, the daughter of James Frederick Daniel and Janie Shiver Daniel. She was married Jan. 10, 1880, to Allen W. English of Macon County. They moved to Dawson in 1910. She was a Baptist.
Survivors are, daughters: Mrs. Iva Muriel Lewis, Mrs. Janie Lewis of Dawson; Mrs. W. S. Wright of Ocala, Fla; Mrs. Mary McLendon of Scranton, Pa.; Mrs. Bettie Wager of Atlanta; two sons, William Franklin English and Daniel Frederick English of Dawson; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the home, Monday, 10 o'clock.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson.
