Husband of Elizabeth Jane (Spurlock) Lewis and son of Archibald Arthur Lewis and Iva Muriel (English) Lewis.

Mr. Charles Turner Lewis,Sr., of Atlanta, died May 25, 1995.

Mr. Lewis was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, an Auditor with Georgia Power Company. He retired in 1973 after 35 years service. He was a member of Atlanta Artist Club and was well known as a successful Portrait Painter.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth S. Lewis, Atlanta; sons, Dr. Charles Turner Lewis, Jr., Houston, TX; Dr. Daniel Wesley Lewis, Menlo Park, CA; daughters, Dr. Elizabeth Duvert, Bergheim, TX; Ms. Jane L. Collier, Atlanta; sister, Mrs. George H. Kelley, Miami Springs, FL; brother, Mr. A. H. (Jube) Lewis, Atlanta; four grandchildren, one great-grand child.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Rev. Bob Bowling will officiate. Interment Oak Grove United Methodist Church Yard. A. S. Turner & Sons.
