SHIRLEY WILSON
Shirley Ann Cooksey Wilson, 66, resident of 301 Highway 246 N., died February 13, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cherry Valley, AR, July 12, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Edna Fore Wilson. She was a graduate of Kennett High School in Kennett, MO and was employed by Main Street United Methodist Church. Formerly of Jackson, MO, Ms. Wilson had made her home in Greenwood since 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Kristie Lumley and husband Leland of Greenwood; one son, Brian Wilson and wife Kerri of Jackson, MO; two grandchildren, Lexi and Alex Wilson; three sisters, Janetta Elkins, Lois Newman and Dottie Hampton and one brother, James Cooksey.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenwood Humane Society, PO Box 49776, Greenwood, SC 29649.
