He was born January 30, 1918, in Manitou, Oklahoma. He was a retired Baptist Minister, a former volunteer at Baylor Hospital in Texas and involved in Meals on Wheels program.

Funeral was held at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Chatanooga, Oklahoma, with burial at Frederick Cemetery in Frederick, Oklahoma. Local arrangements under the direction of Hall Funeral Service of Mena.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, two sons, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
