retrieve his family's pontoon pleasure craft,
which blew away from the shore.
Officials said the body was recovered in
about 10 feet of water late Wednesday
morning after an hours-long search.
Mr. Aurand was a lifetime area resident.
He was a farmer and a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are the widow, Mary Jo, of the
home; his mother, Mrs. Pauline Aurand,
rural Hardy; 3 daughters, a son, and 1 son
all of the home; 4 sisters,and a brother.
