MRS LALLA WILLIS DIES ENROUTE HOME
Mrs Lalla Willis, 72, of Becton, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Leonard Hildreth at Smiths Grove, Tues morning.
She had been spending the winter with her sister, Mrs Elizabeth Barton, at Marion, Ark. Mrs Barton died about six weeks ago and Mrs Willis started to her home at Becton and was taken ill on the way and stopped at Smiths Grove and was unable to continue to her home.
Survived by four children: Mrs Hildreth, Mrs Claud Amos, Mrs James Edmonds and Miss Annie Willis.

Laura Edmunds Willis (1857-1929) was the first burial in the Beech Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The other Willis family members were re-interred here at a later date.
