Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Koran Furtick Hoefer, widow of Frank Christian Hoefer, who died Monday in a local nursing home, will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from Ebenezer Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Carl A. Honeycutt and the Rev. George Meetze. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Originally from Lexington County, Mrs. Hoefer was the daughter of the late Irving and Frances William Furtick. She was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Frances H. Shinn, a son, Frank William Hoefer, and a sister, Mrs. Lula A. Walker, all of Columbia.
Active pallbearers will be, F. A. Hoefer Jr., Carrington B. Hoefer, H. P. Davis, J. R. Davis, Harry Braum and Herbert E. Mims.
Honorary pallbearers will be, James H., Hammond, Staff and Directors of the Security Federal Saving and Loan, Linder Hoefer, Herbert Hoefer, Fred Hoefer, Theodore Hoefer, J. E. Boykin, J. B. Cameron, O'Neill Sawyer, Dr. Warren Fulmer, Edward C. Furtick, M. T. Pitts, R. E. Broom, E. S. Douglas, Charles D. Davis, R. D. Lide, Howard Scott, R. C. Williams and P. A. Robinson of North.
The family will be at the home of Mrs. Frances H. Shinn, 2711 Millwood Avenue.
