Mrs. Emma D. Roofner, 87, of Worthington RD 1, formerly of Adrian RD 1, died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Iola) Wolff of West Kittanning. She was born Sept. 22, 1882 in Sugarcreek Township, the daughter of James and Sarah (Leard) Quigley. Mrs. Roofner was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian. Survivors include three sons, Frank Roofner of Worthington RD 1, Raymond Roofner of East Brady RD 1, and George Roofner of Ford City RD 1; three daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Wolff, Mrs. Paul (Nellie) McCollim of Kittanning RD 2, and Mrs. George (Frances) Wertz of Levittown; 33 grandchildren; and 63 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Robert Roofner, and two sons, Clifford and Victor, preceded her in death. ROOFNER - Friends of Mrs. Emma D. Roofner of Worthington RD 1, who died Dec. 21, 1969, will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Walter G. Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville, and from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 24) at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian, where the Rev. Lawrence Camberg, church pastor, will then conduct service. Burial will follow in St. Mark's Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder.
