Well-known Montgomeryville Citizen Succumbs in Allegheny General Hospital
Robert A. Roofner, aged 52 years, died in the Allegheny General hospital, Pittsburgh, Tuesday night after a recent illness. He was a well-known resident of Montgomeryville and was held in high esteem by friends. Deceased is survived by his wife and the following children. Frank, of Cowansville; Raymond and Victor, of Reesedale; George at home; Mrs. Ward Hall, Nellie and Francis, at home. Seven grandchildren, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Roofner and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Charles, of Tarrtown; Jeff, of Kittanning; Mrs. Lizzie Meyers, of Mosgrove; Mrs. Irene Tarr, of Tarrtown; Mrs. Ida Nichols, of Kittanning; the Misses Floma and Daisy Roofner and Mrs. Mona Hanson, all of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Beaulah Lamison, of Kittanning. The funeral will take place Friday afternoon. The cortege will leave the residence at two o'clock and services will be held in St. John's church, Montgomeryville.
