Mrs. George Dandoy
Mrs. Mary V. Dandoy, 79, of Latrobe died Saturday, July 27, 1991 in Latrobe Area Hospital.
She was born July 5, 1912, in Derry, a daughter of the late William Scoot and Leona Woodrow Pyle.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Latrobe Area Hospital.
She was a member of Latrobe Presbyterian Church, The Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 221 of Latrobe and Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society and a former member of the Latrobe Country Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George "Gus" Dandoy, in 1964; a sister, and six brothers.
She is survived by a son, Dr. William O. Dandoy of Willard, Mo.; a brother, John Pyle of Springdale; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at which time the service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David B. Batchelder officiating. Interment will be in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
