Richard "Dick" Ashton Sr., a 55 year resdent of Iowa Park, Texas died on October 12, 2005. He was 81.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park Texas .
Dick was survived by his wife of 61 years, Jimmie Dee Fish Ashton, son and wife, Richard & Barbara Ashton Jr. Daughter Dee-Ann and Charles Shinpaugh of Henrietta Texas 2 Grandsons Richard Ashton III of Arlington Texas and Cody Dixon of Iowa Park, 2 Granddaughters Melissa Ashton of Iowa Park Texas and Christie Fry of Wichita Falls, Texas; a brother, Jimmy S Ashton of Archer City and a sister Dorothy Brock of Archer City. Mr. Ashton was self employed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Fannie Sturgeon Ashton.
