Funeral services for Eva V. Berry were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2001 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with Dr. Calvin Phelps and Rev. William Stark officiating.

Burial was in Garden of Memories in Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

Mrs. Berry, age 91 of Winnfield died Thursday, March 1, 2001 in the Parkview Nursing Home, Winnfield. She was a native of Dodson, LA a member of the Church of Nazarene of Winnfield, worked as a sitter and nurses aid for many years.

Survivors are three sons, Lamar Berry and Bill Berry, both of Winnfield, LA and Jimmy Berry of Natchitoches, LA; two sisters, Josie Gaar of Hudson, LA and Laura McCain of Winnfield, LA; one brother, Lonnie Austin of Winnfield, LA; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Berry, one son Huey Berry and one daughter Jennie Mae Whitehead.

Pallbearers were: Philip Whitehead, Brett Whitehead, Robin Whitehead, Allen Whitehead, Brion Whitehead and Karl Whitehead.
