Mr. Berry was a member of New Hope Church and was employed in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva A. Berry of Winnfield, four sons, Huey Berry, Lamar Berry, Billy Berry, all of Winnfield and Jimmy Berry of Natchitoches, a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Whitehead of Winnfield, four brothers, Cecil Berry, Marvin Berry, Guy (Tim) Berry, all of Winnfield and A. A. Berry of Pineville, two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Hughen of Winnfield and Mrs. Arah Mooney of Dodson and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Funeral Home chapel with Revs. Walter Prichard, Charles Haley and W. F. Harrell officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories.
Pallbearers included Harley Austin, Don Walsh, Jim Russell, Ivy Rolen, Cecil Taylor and Melvin Berry.
