Henry H. Anderson, a son of Hans and Ingeborg Anderson, was born near Adams Aug. 30, 1882, being 63 years, four months and 16 days of age at the time of his death. He attended school at Adams and was baptized and confirmed at Little Cedar Lutheran church. (confirmed at Little Cedar Lutheran Church, Adams, MN, in 1897)


Dec. 19, 1912, he was united in marriage to Andrea Ericson. To this union were born 4 children, one of which died in infancy. About two months ago, Mr. Anderson was stricken with a heart ailment and was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's hospital, Rochester, Sunday Jan. 6 and passed away at 8 p. m. on Jan. 16. His death came as a shock to his family and friends by whom he will be greatly missed.


Mr. Anderson leaves to mourn his death, his wife, three children, Sidney, a recent returned veteran from service in the armed forces, now at home, Isabelle at home and Myrtle of Austin, also three brothers, Arne and Ed of Grand Meadow and Carl of Marion, N. D., two sisters, Mrs. Julia Knutson, Hettinger, N. D., and Emma (Mrs. Gust Carlson) of Northfield.


Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Lutheran church in Grand Meadow, Rev. J. C. Thompson officiating. Pallbearers were nephews, Arthur, Theodore, Lloyd, Thomas and Archie Anderson and Ted Keim. Burial was in Bear Creek cemetery.
