Mary L. Fisher
Mary Linville Fisher, 105, the oldest native of Knox County, Missouri, of Holyoke, Colorado, formerly of Edina, died Monday morning (January 14, 1991) in Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke.
The daughter of Charles Bruce and Bertha Schneider Linville, she was born August 17, 1885 in Edina. On November 28, 1912 in Edina she married John Henry Fisher, who preceded her in death on June 1, 1962.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Theodore P. (Laura Bert) Clark of Holyoke; one grandson, Major John Andrew Clark of Salt Lake City, Utah; one granddaughter, Mary Ellen Roberts of Ashland, Oregon; five great-grandchildren, John Fisher Clark, Aaron Phillip Clark and Jessica Clark, all of Salt Lake City, and NatalieRoberts and Laura Beth Roberts, both of Ashland; one nephew, John McElfresh of Kirksville; and two nieces, Esther Kaler Crane of Billington, Washington, and Carolyn McElfresh Hendrick of San Diego, California.
Mrs. Fisher was a long-time resident of Knox County. Her grandfather, Philip Bruce Linville, was a pioneer merchant and banker in Knox County. For the last several years she resided in Holyoke.
Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday morning (January 19, 1991) at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina with the Rev. Thomas Sullenger of Edina officiating. Entombment will be in the Linville Mausoleum, Edina.
