Thena Ann (Grayson) Weatherby passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at her home in Miami, Oklahoma she was 83.
She was born in Commerce, Oklahoma on November 15, 1929 to William "Jenks" and May (Wilkerson) Grayson.
She married Clifton Weatherby on December 25, 1949 in Harrison, Arkansas and they were married for over 62 years before his passing in July of 2012.
She lived in the Miami area all her life.
She graduated from Commerce High School in 1947 and went on to attend Joplin Beauty School, and was a beautician for over 30 years; she was a ward secretary for 25 years at Miami Baptist Hospital and retired in 2001.
Mrs. Weatherby was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, of Miami. She loved to decorate her home, and travel with her husband to many places especially Alabama to see her close family and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 3 brothers and 2 nephews.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma with Rev. Dwight Moeller officiating. Interment will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery in Fairland, Oklahoma under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 Wednesday at the Funeral Home
