Utica Daily Press Newspaper, September 30, 1972 edition., CLINTON - James P. Crane, 80, of 145 Seneca Turnpike, formerly of College Hill Road, died yesterday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center after a three month illness. He was born in Clinton and attended school here. For many years he operated a farm on College Hill Raod with his brother, the late Leo J, Crane, retiring in 1956. In 1919 he married Elizabeth Fleucher who died in 1944. In 1945 he married Mary A. Burke, who died in 1957. In 1959 he married Henrietta Knoblock Manning. She died in 1964. Mr. Crane was a member of St. Mary's Church and its Holy Name Society. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Anna) Stockbridge, with whom he lived; Mrs. Daniel (Gertrude) Perrigo, Vernon; Mrs. Robert (Mary) Pease, Munnsville; two sons, James L., Ballston Spa.; William J., Westmoreland; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Walter (Catherine) Hamlin, Utica; a stepson, James R. Manning, Lexington, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. William (Cecelia) Smith, Utica. The funeral will be at 9 Monday from the Heintz Funeral Home , Clinton, and at 9:30 from St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday
