Utica Daily Press Newspaper, September 6, 1943 Edition. Page 11. Obituary, NEW HARTFORD - Mrs. James F. Doyle, 59, of 8 Sherman St., this village, died Sept. 5, 1943 in a Utica hospital after a brief illness. She was born May 24, 1884, daughter of James and Mary Finegan Crane. In 1910 she married Mr. Doyle and had lived here since. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and its Women's Club. Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. James Vogel, Utica, Misses Frances and Rose Doyle, this village; five sons, James and Bernard, New Hartford, Pvt. Thomas M., Pvt. William H. and Pfc John, all in the armed forces; four sisters, Miss Agnes Crane and Mrs. William P. Smith, Utica, Mrs. Earl Peters, Clinton and Sister Agnes Edina, Syracuse; four brothers, Michael Crane, Dolgeville, Philip, James and Leo Crane, Clinton; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from St. John the Evangelist Church
